Its name comes from Tupi (Brazilian indigenous language) and refers to an ancient brew of cereals and cassava, manufactured by Brazilian Indians.
Despite being written Pilsen on the label, this beer is an American Lager with a typically Brazilian ingredient: cassava. This mixture produces a clear, refreshing and slightly bitter beer.
Very international recipe: German yeast, imported malt, Czech hops and Brazilian cassava.
