We made this recipe over the weekend! It was phenomenal!

But beware; it requires a slow cooker.

You can adapt the recipe for the oven, but will need to add water when necessary not to dry the meat.

And before the last hour, add another 200 ml of beer.

INGREDIENTS

1.5 kg pork

2 onions

500ml Brown Ale

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon ground mustard

1 tablespoon salt

2 tablespoons cornstarch

Black pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. Let the meat marinate with the beer for at least two hours.

2. In the slow cooker pot, add the marinated meat, the beer, sliced onions, paprika, soy sauce, mustard, salt and pepper.

3. Let the meat cook for 8 hours, in the medium heat.

4. Remove the meat and set aside.

5. Strain the sauce and place in a saucepan. Add the cornstarch and let it dry and thicken for a few minutes.

6. Pour the sauce over the meat.
