Weiss Beer and Orange Duck


8 duck legs

5 oranges

1 liter of Weiss beer (Paulaner is a nice option)

4 sliced onions Salt, pepper, oregano and basil


1. Pell off the oranges and separate the buds

2. Season the duck with salt, pepper, oregano and basil, and then place them into a deep pan.

3. Add the sliced onions and 500ml of beer. Fill the pan with water until the meat is submerged

4. Add the orange buds over the liquid and bake in a preheat oven (200°C – 400F) until most of the liquid evaporates

5. Add the other 500ml of the beer and let is bake again until most of the liquid evaporates.

TIP: You can add some potatoes into the pan. They will cook in the beer sauce and will be awesome
