The German site GoEuro created a study to determine where you can to spend more to drink a regular beer at the end of the day.

The study was based on the cost of international brands beer bottles (330ml) from Heineken, Becks, Guinness and Budweiser. Beyond the large international beers, the main local brand was analyzed to determine the final value. List values are in Euros.

The city where you spends less for a beer is Warsaw, Poland’s capital, where the price is EUR0,79, equivalent to approximately USD 1,00.

And the most expensive city is Oslo, capital of Norway, with a price of more than EUR3,5 (approximately USD 4,50), closely followed by Zurich, which is already considered one of the most expensive cities in the world.

One of the most striking findings is that even with the weak value of the Brazilian Real compared with the European and North American currencies, the city of Rio de Janeiro appears among the 10 most expensive, with the value of EUR1,72 (USD2,25). Another city that stands out is Berlin.

The city is among those with the highest beer consumption per capita in the world and is considered the second cheapest.
